Big trucks line up to bring in yet MORE containers. I suspect that most of these are ALSO empty.
I find it hard to imagine that it would ever be viable for shiploads of empty containers to be
returned to China. Soon it will be standing room only for containers only ... or so it seems. Of
course last month, Australia enjoyed a three billion dollar international trade surplus but most of
our exports were in the form of bulk minerals, going out through the Port of Newcastle and places in
South and Western Australia. Manufacturing in western countries seems destined to disappear.
