Bee (Epeolus sp.) on Bull thistle

This bee was so intent on seeking nectar that not once did it lift its head nor try to fly away. After taking about 10 shots I walked away and the bee was still deep in its work!

You never know with bees.....they are such peaceful lovely creatures, don't know why people fear them so much. A very fine capture, indeed, great pose., and love those stripes in his jacket. V
