The Meade 102ED with the Borg 77ACH guide scope Piggy Backed.
The mount is an older Mountain Instruments MI-250. This mount can run for a night or two on a 9volt battery.
The newer ones have a computerized goto system which is considerably more expensive.
The mount is mounted on a TriMax surveyors tripod since this tripod is sturdy, easy to move and made of composit materials.
This mount has no setting circles but did come with optical encoders installed.
Regretfully, my assistant, seen sniffing the ground is no longer with me. After sixteen years, my friend has departed.
