The Last One

This will be the last night image for sometime......captured at this years GTC.
This old house sits just north of Torquay SK on a grid road and is surrounded with Canola in full bloom.
Oil field leases dot the horizon line as the stars circle overhead, only to be interrupted by a satellite.
This was a full fifteen minute exposure and only one of many this weekend.
Lens flare was neat also. Can you spot the satellite? Do you see two?

I've never done a long exposure like this one, but that may change after seeing this! Great work Mike, thanks for sharing.

Love this one Mike. I should know where the Sat.is since I was there and it was pointed out-but know I'm not sure. Great exposure. Love the star trails

To tell you the truth I cannot tell but if it is that one faint line that goes up to the right hand corner and then the one faint line coming from the left hand side then I see both. A fantastic job on this one, Mike! BraVo!

Took a couple of days, but I finally found both satellites!

A really outstanding image Mike. Nicely done as always.

I can see one satellite; the overall immensity of scale of the cosmos in this is bewildering; it makes us feel very small. Great shot, wish you were doing more though!

You are the king Mike, hope you don't wait to long to return. Love all the night paintings you've. Have no idea which is a man made satellite vs a natural satellite.
