Last evening, we discovered this hawk got caught in the empty corn crib.
I opened 5 slates hoping it would find it's way out.
Today, after work I saw that the hawk was still in the corn crib.
I went to get a bucket of water thinking it must be thirsty but it continued to fly around the top.
Finally Feryl, a friend came by to get an early start to ted the hay
and opened up the top of the crib. Yeahhhh Feryl !
Finally after some noise to the crib, the young hawk flew out the top to his freedom.
I think this ties into this holiday coming up, the 4th of July, Independence day.
Thanks Russell Brady (my cousin's son) serving in Afghanistan, stay safe !
The opening to freedom
