We all have to start somewhere and I started my vacation with a ferry ride from Vancouver Island to Horseshoe Bay in West Vancouver.
Those friends and fellow photographers who know me well, know i don't do well on boats but a valium or two works wonders. This was taken from the lower car deck with a clear open view of the approach to the mainland.

I might add here that I did make two more boat journeys but I drew the line at my husbands suggestion of a river rafting trips down on the Kicking Horse river and Hells Gate Canyon...this is an ongoing gallery so I hope you will all enjoy the miles through my eyes and camera.
