We stopped at Manning Provincial Park for a few days and although it rained most of the time the critters did not seem to mind, and we had the odd patch of sunlight where we grabbed a camera and got them to pose for us....
Manning Park is a 70,884 hectare wilderness park established in 1941 in the Cascade Mountains. The headwaters of the Skagit and Similkameen rivers begin here.
There is a fine lodge for accommodation. Spring was late so many of the trails were not open but we made the best of it...
We have visited Manning many times so we were just content to rest and be thankful...
