Female Orange tip - Anthocharis cardamines

I found this female flying round and after an hour of following her she hovered enough to get a few shots of her.
The female orange tips don't have the beautiful orange on their wings.

This has to be my favourite butterfly. The first sighting is a sure sign Spring is here! The pattern and colours on the rear underwing is really beautiful on both sexes.Love the delicate rendition of this one, Carole!Wonderful shot. :>))
