Carlo I am getting just a little tired of the rain and I am ready for summer. actually the the small bird was attacking the hawk. I think to protect a nest.

That bird was smart to get away. I've seen these falcons swoop down on a pair of doves perched on my willow tree. Nice catch. This year have been one of the longest spring that I've seen in California. 67* to 70*(F) in late May. Not that I'm complaining, I'm loving it.

It looks like a watercolour painting, really nice sunny day feel to this

Oh I love the sparkes (whites spots) in the trees in the background! It just makes it look like a great summer day. That bird that's flying away is smart to hurry away! Around here falcons and harriers will eat another bird (doesn't seem right huh?) like the pigeon. I really like how this came out Richard. It does look like a painting for sure!

A soft look, which lends a magical aura to the scene. The hawk makes a great subject against this kind of a background.
