Last week there were some incidents of arson in the greenbelt near Stony Swamp. I knew about two fire sites, one in a forested area and another on private property bordering the greenbelt, and this morning I discovered a third site. This fire was by far the biggest and the most destructive. Approximately 25,000 square feet of field was burned and a number of Tamaracks were either singed or burnt to a crisp. The destruction continues well beyond the left edge of the frame and a bit beyond the right edge.
