I'm not sure what's in this container, but apparently it wants to get out!

During our training we learned about how birds are fed in the nursery, and were able to observe the process. The avian nursery is in need of volunteers who are interested in and/or experienced with birds, who can tolerate the loud noise of baby birds chirping, and have the patience to feed them as often as every 10 minutes. The nurseries are staffed 14 hours a day and things are very busy in the spring.
