The iPad is really just a big iPhone without the calling features. Still it is pretty neat. I may not have to carry my laptop with me in the future when I travel!

I saw an iPad upclose yesterday for the first time. I believe therein lies the future of all magazines and many books... and that just scratches the surface of what it can do.

A new gadget guy! You're fortunate! "I may not have to carry my laptop with me in the future when I travel! " seems like a less than viable justification when I explain to Elaine why we need to spend the money.
