This is from a long walk yesterday across Bredon Hill - on the way back, we past Woollas Hall on the north of the hill. Something made me turn as we went past one of the outbuildings and I spotted this odd couple out of the corner of my eye. I don't know how old this statue is, if it's a representation of an authentic story or just someone's idea brought to life. Judging by the helmet, the soldier looks like a WW1 vintage British 'Tommy'...does anybody know of any Tommy and wren stories??
