The Cowichan Bay Maritime Centre is operated by the
Cowichan Bay Wooden Boat Society. The Society is
committed to the restoration and repair of wooden craft,
along with preserving the history and heritage
of BC’s maritime past.
Taking a walk down the longest pier in Cowichan Bay
is like taking a walk in history. There are three
'pods' which tell the Cowichan Bay history, and of
boating in the area. The shipwright offers wooden
boat building classes.
