Haveli in Kassguma

This is an old Haveli belonging to a ruling family in Kassguma, near Mirpur. The current family head is presently the president of AJK. His ancestors held high posts in the Dogra government. This large haveli is an architectural masterpiece and one of its kind in AJK. However, the haveli has been neglected and allowed to fall in ruin. The family and the government of AJK have allowed this beautiful and important national asset to go into ruin. I hope that Mr Zulqarnain takes the iniative and repairs the haveli and then opens it to the public. There is a strong business case for such a project.

Old structures need to be maintained and preserved as monuments.

Yes I strongly agree that this Haveli should be restored I work here at a University in London and have seen this place hundreds of time and so sad that the owner are soo rich. Can give somthing back to the community also restore the graveyard near the haveli. Mayee the student from here can help restore this if Raja Saab wants to. Ajaib
