A number of cedar waxwings were trying to feed upon youpon berries this afternoon in a tree by my house. They couldnt get to the berries beccause a mockingbird was nesting in the bush, and ferociously fought off all of the waxwings. This one was sitting in a salvia bush waiting for an opportunity.
