Month #11 - Retrospective of Daily Photos posted from 5/04 to 12/09 (most viewers for the month)

3/05 - This is a 2nd entry for March 2005 (may not have even been made exactly then). The *real* viewer's choice was a composite from my "early days" of trying composites. This one is one of my favorite composites and I couldn't resist adding it at this point of the retrospective.

I had waded through a ditch to get this perspective of the barn - through a fence (I subsequently developed a reputation for through-fence images & this may have been the beginning). After taking the shot I looked at the old weathered fence and thought "great composite image background" and took a few fence close-ups. After I came home I put the two together and this is the result. With the D300 and its in-camera "image overlay" function (or its multiple exposure - either would do the trick), I could have done this in-camera on the spot (and spent more time shooting and less fussing with the computer).
