This immature bald eagle had dropped his fish at the edge of the water and was flying off and eventually circled back in an attempt to salvage his meal. Unfortunately, while I was following this bird, another eagle swooped down and grabbed the fish....we both missed out that time, the immature eagle lost his fish and I missed the shot. Oh well...you just can't get them all.
