Bad place to leave a boat.

Richmond Lock

The river bed here is under water for 11 months of the year.
To leave the boats for one month to take the ground is very risky as there are some very large stones lying on the bottom.
To have the boat drop onto these stones twice a day for a month is asking to have the hull holed.
Very risky.

Dave, the association is fantastic.
But,,,the Profumo gang did not use such low cost vessels as these.
They could be found in a certain Gin Palace on the water at xxxx xxxxxx.
Sorry, even now I cannot reveal the location, I love my freedom.

I see the keel of one of the boats. Is that the HMS Keeler, once a playground during the Profumo Affair? The chains seem to confirm it.

Obviously these two already have holes -- they've sunk right to the bottom.
