We were told kindly by a gardener that visitors were not allowed to take photos inside the palace and I felt a little disappointed to have not any chance to capture a personal image of this leisure sumptuous residence.

But we were at least free to take the mental images of our memories, which unluckily I cannot share with you.

As partial compensation I could peep inside a very ancient tower which appeared to be a kind of shelter for a solitary boat.

The wooden boat looked a little like a Venetian gondola, even though with differences and I wondered if it had been forgotten there and who were the people who had sailed on it during the slow rhythm of past.
