Lovely shot, the colours are great.
Don't usually have a problem with access times, just occasionally have to wait a few moments for a comment to be accepted.

I almost didn't renew, I get so frustrated at times, I just shut the site. I also post on some site that are bigger, and very rarely do i get slower response. just answering the few messages I get is sometimes an hour job, just waiting.......... the pleasure erodes very fast when that happens.

The lighting accentuates the veining in the leaves!

Beautifully lit leaves. Something I have never eaten and now must try as you have made it look so attractive.

I like silver beet too, with ricotta cheese and some fried nuts! Very nice macro.

You show the beauty of this veggie so masterful, tastes good too. Wrap it around some fish filet and steam with shallots and a little water over medium heat, add some butter and you will enjoy the fresh green look of the veggie on that fish! Cut up also the stems and cook separately with some water and butter and serve on the side! Season all with a little salt and white grounded pepper!

Terrific composition!

I think your plea may go unheard Laine, the management seem to have corn in their ears.
Cindi Smith22-Sep-2009 01:17

Great shot and message Laine. It's so strange that so many PBasers have problem with the speed of the site. I only have problems rarely and that is mostly when trying to access my profile page and when leaving comments. The comments part I've gotten around by having Firefox open each comment in a separate window. I do think it would be reassuring if we knew there was someone minding the helm.

I wish somebody at Pbase would act like they care, hear our complaints or would show something new and promising.. Long time no real innovation. It's pretty sad. I think we'll lose several regulars soon.
