I hadn't had Guitar Hero 5 out since the day I brought it home from the store. So with everyone
gone this morning, I bust it out and got down to jamming. I'm not sure what song did it in, but
I split the sensor in half on my GH drum bass pedal. It's not just double hitting anymore,
it's completely broke into 3 pieces. Great.


So we went out to Best Buy to pick up a new replacement, since I noticed they had them for $15.
Well, the BB in Kenosha does NOT have them, but they did have a pretty spiffy looking upgrade
pedal. It was $30, but looked like it would be nice, and it worked for both GH and RB kits.
Bonus.


Yea....it's a piece of junk and going back tomorrow. It registers double hits on every note,
one on the down stroke and one on the up stroke. Sooooo...no GH tonight.


So we got out the Rock Band kit and the RB2 game, and did a little jamming there. After a quick
dinner, Ian asked if he could drum a little. He did pretty dang good on easy for the 5 songs
he did. I was proud of him. Just a little more practice a little more often, and I'll be
begging him to use the drumset. ;)
