Actually he really is learning.
When asked, on command, WITH FOOD in your hand, he will lie down. The hard part is getting him to sit up again.
He either sits quickly when he comes over to you or he prefers lying down even when commanded, WITH FOOD in your hand, to sit again .
But he lies down really well now.
I think he had got that one licked.
