Slide an 11/16 or 5/16 inch inch solid brass bead down the wire shaft, and over the tag end. Then, carefully slip the bass casting sinker body onto the shaft and slide it down over the tag end. BE CAREFUL--the fit is tight with two thicknesses of .029 wire, and the tag end can easily be pushed right through the body. If you need to use pliers to hold the shaft and tag end together, be doubly careful,because with pliers, one can accidentally push the tag end right into your index finger or thumb when threading the body onto the shaft and tag end.
