Indian takeaway summer

In May it was predicted we’d have a barbecue summer with weeks of endless sunshine
But it never really happened, just the usual two days of sunshine and a thunderstorm
Now that we’ve had three sunny days in September they’re talking about an Indian summer
But this morning was grey and overcast, so much for that theory
I reckon an Indian summer is like an Indian takeaway meal
It never really satisfies and as soon as it’s over you’re ready for another one …..

Haha - you think you've had a bad deal from the 'Barbecue Summer' - you should see it from the other side of the fence!!

Have you ever noticed weathermen are the only people who can get their job wrong & not get the sack !!

We've had rain for 3 days now. Only to get up to 70 tomorrow. Beautiful image and lovely bokeh.

Mmm, Cheltenhamshire was overcast from 13:00 today after a fine sunny & warm morning...but we've had the most amazing blue skies and gorgeous sunset this evening...it's been a beautiful five days or so :o)
Grand photo BTW, almost got carried way with the forecast there :o) Lovely bokeh and lighting (probably because of the flatness of the overcast day :o))

Yes, the indian summer came and went, I missed it, blame the weather men. Great shot.

sounds like you need to change your curry house. I like the cool tones in this shot.

Ok, I have to say - this summer just did not happen. In June, we have the 3rd rainiest month since 1903 only to be followed by July which was the first in the amount of rain since 1903. Can I get do over on this summer??
