Two swallowtail caterpillars compete for the last leaves of a fennel stem.
There are many on these stems, I counted at least a dozen on one plant.
They seem to be in a hurry to fatten up before the season is over.
Some are SO tiny, I doubt they will make it in time.
Either all the leaves will have been eaten by their siblings or the weather will have changed to quickly.
