The 85 was a very busy service when it was converted from RM's to single deck SMS vehicles in 1971. Thankfully is wasn't too long before double deck vehicles returned to the route in the form of the DMS, the following year. DMS306 is seen here in the Kingston Station Bus Yard prior to departure for Putney on one of the journeys that routed via Telegraph Inn.
