Nightshade (Solanum dulcamara)

This non-native twining vine, produces beautiful deep purple flowers with yellow centres and in later summer-fall, these gorgeous red berries. Being in the Potato family, you would not want to eat this fruit. It can be toxic, hence its other common name "Deadly Nightshade".

I've seen the flowers but I've never been out hiking in those areas at the right time to see the berries. They look like tomatoes.

Beautiful, pristine shot, and it looks so delicious, like Snow White's apple. V
