As I stepped in the door, I was transported back in time. Black and white floor tiles, red vinyl booths, checkered table cloths, memorabilia of Marilyn Monroe, Elvis Presley and cars that were "oh so cool!"
I was greeted with a "Hi! How ya doin'?" The regulars were greeted by name. And if your name was Emma... you were "Miss Emma" here. After all... you are in the South!
"Texas Friendly" is definitely spoken here.
I barely sat my butt down and I was served a hot cup of coffee and looked over the extensive breakfast menu featuring "home cooking".
