Primrose moth (Schinia florida) #11164, on White sweet clover

Clyde Forks, Lanark County. I think this is the first time I've seen these moths on anything other than Evening Primrose!

This is a SUPER capture Christine. Tack sharp and great detail. Nice setting too. I've never seen one of these.

I see that it doesn't range this far. How I would love to visit a butterfly farm( or create one). This pink lady is over the top, and though not as subtle in her beauty as the coral hairstreak, makes up for it by sheer surprise. I wonder if the volunteers at the farm would allow me to put in a small section of butterfly favorite plants next year.
