St. Johnswort/Klamath weed beetles (Chrysolina sp.) on Klamath weed

Klamath weed is also known as St. John's wort (Hypericum perforatum). These beetles were introduced to control this fast-spreading invasive which is considered a noxious weed in agricultural areas (although it is also used by herbalists for treatment of depression and possibly other things). As you can see, the bio-control is working.
