Too Shy :-)

"Hey girl, move a little closer,
You're too shy, shy, hush hush!" :)

-Kajagoogoo, "Too Shy" 1983

Note: I've been experimenting with digital noise for some time now.
While I still prefer the look of film grain, I'm trying to
find a happy compromise.

she is way too much Sam! :) wow....BTW grain simulation is not bad in the highlights but the shadows?? uh uh....but that's the real tough part......V

A true gem, Sam.
You have made a remarkable portrait, and the amount of noise similar to some hi iso b&w film does not distract at all, on the contrary giving another dimension to this wonderful portrait.

Wonderful portrait, nice sparkle in the eyes.
Love the grainy effects even though it's produced from a digital camera ~V~

I love the intensity of the b&w, because it makes her eyes more expressive and shinier, but when it comes to grain, there's nothing quite like film ;)

Bubbly cuteness! I like the gritty bw.
Kajagoogoo!? Now that's a disco days flashback!
:O)

Beautiful. It's hard to replicate the grain of film, but this comes close. BV

BTW I'm quiet happy with what I get out of the D80 at iso1600 colour for a film grain simulation.
