Maple Bay is located on the west side of southern Vancouver Island and is situated halfway up Sansum Narrows. It separates Vancouver Island from Saltspring Island, the largest and nearest of the southern Gulf Islands. The marina you see in this image is located in Bird’s Eye Cove at the extreme south end of Maple Bay. We love this spot for relaxing, enjoying a sunny afternoon and of course shooting a few photos.
