Catching Power

This house belongs to a guy I used to work with. He just had these solar panels installed a few months ago. The hill I am standing on has his "heat source" - he had a geothermal heating system installed four years ago to replace his heat pump. His last monthly utility bill (heating and electricity) was about $80 US.

He gave a couple of us former working buddies the grand tour and answered a lot of questions on both projects. When he built the house back in 1985, he situated it so the roof would face south and this has been his plan for a long time.

It really has me thinking about alternative energy. We can do this America.

By the way, the solar panel system was not cheap but the state had a great rebate deal at the time he did this.

We're having this done our house. The prices are beginning to become more reasonable for solar panels as the technology advances and the competition increases. Thanks for the demo.

I need to get that. My house is barely 1400 sq ft and I paid $180 in electricity.

Good planning by your neighbor. Clean and renewable energy is the way to go.
