A picture of a painting attributed to a famous representative of the Aleppo School of painting, the priest Yusuf al-Musawwir (also known as Joseph the Painter). This picture, taken up front, has some nasty reflections, by standing to its side I took some better ones, but then had to correct more for perspective. The subject is Simeon the Stylist (The younger, 7th century, not the more famous earlier one).
