Nesting Bald Eagle

near Ellensburg, Washington

Imagine my surprise as I'm traveling down the road, look over and see the white head of a Bald Eagle pop up out
of a nest. Never one to pass up an opportunity I turned around and went back to get some shots of it.

Wonderful shot! The head is wonderfully surrounded by all the branches going in all directions. And the eye is wide open and strongly focused.
