Frosty had a glacier flowing from its heights. I did not get a picture of the glacier, nor did I get to climb up to it. It was on the other side of the mountain from the radar site, but I did get to see the glacier in its clear, blue glory when I was exploring Navy Town. I mention in my notes that during winter it is impossible to get far up the mountain by vehicle because of the "huge snow drifts." This black-and-white photo illustrates how far down the mountain the snow line is...and the photo is from October, not even the dead of winter yet!
