For the last two days an immature bald eagle has been lurking around the observation pond early in the morning......heavy rain prevented a good shot the day before, but even with low light and overcast in the morning a few rough photos were taken to document the presence of this future magnificent symbol of our Country. The "immature" appears to be in final transistion to adulthood and in a little more than a year will be ready for mating and the appearence as we commonly think a Bald Eagle should look. (please excuse the graininess of the photos since the bird was almost at maximum range of the lense I had.)
