Bowesville Road area south of Ottawa. This is an old gate, part of a now dismantled fence, that was used to keep cattle out of a pasture. The cattle no longer graze, the pasture is reverting to old field habitat (good for birds!),the fence is gone, and only part of the old iron gate remains.
