This image is aptly named because we all become aware of how finite time is. Our Airmen are granted
town pass for a specific time only. The minutes and hours pass quickly as we stop at our hotel to
hand off his cell phone, i-pod and lap top computer ( which proves that there is life without all
of these common possessions ). The kids don't want to loll around, they want to get out and
explore town. An early dinner on the Riverwalk becomes a day we will always remember and cherish.
I keep my camera ready to snap a moment or two along the way.

This picture is one of them as Matt
has told his countless stories of BMT ( getting kicked out of the marching queue after
several mis-steps and being told to "go away and play in the street" by his MTI ). We feel his enthusisam & sense of accomplishment.

Impressive to me is that he ( and his fellow wingmen ) figure out how to tie their neckties properly. The trick is to put it on & have the one guy in the dorm who knows how to do it tie it
for you. Thenyou carefully loosen & slide it over your head so you need only reapply and tighten. The Air Force works wonders even if his tie is a bit crooked.
