The Gift of a Great Kitchen-Shirley
by Shirley Haden

As you may or may not know, we have been hoping to move and it is taking up a lot of time and we are down to a race with another couple to get this townhome. We went to meet the realtor there tonight and I took some photos and in my excitement I wrote little notes on my own photo because, well..... I just love this kitchen! Wish us luck please!!!

Oh and it is very close to Carlos Avery, a wildlife refuge. :o) I have my fingers and toes crossed. Maybe Brenda can think of a poem for me :o)

The next home may be even better
Think I looked at close to a hundered homes before choosing this one. Is it 'perfect'? no, but it's worked out well

Shirley, the next perfect house will have an even more perfect kitchen! Let's see...with a window to look out on the garden while you cook?

Good luck in your search.

Awwww, I'm sorry you lost the house. Tell you what -- when you find the one you want and sign the papers, let me know and I'll write a housewarming poem for you. I'd love to!

This real estate business can be very frustrating. It's great to know that people are still in the market to buy, after so many foreclosures. Bargains can be had! Keep the faith.

You guys are so nice! Sorry to say another couple got the house. :o( Before I could even return the paperwork that we filled out the next day, another couple who were looking at it too got approved and so it is theirs. Back to the drawing board. Ugggg. Now, what's worse is I've seen one I love so they all will be compared to this one. It's going to be hard. So maybe this gift will be a curse! Ha!

Nothing like a good kitchen. Wish you all the luck and hope that you get the house. Hopefully it's still close to your wildlife friends. They'll certainly miss you both.

It really needs someone to make it homey. the empty cupboard needs dishes and the space above needs knickknacks and I think you could fill that need very well

For some a kitchen is slavery
Nope not for me!
It is near Carlos Avery!

Well it is not poetry - and the two ideas have nothing to do with each other - AND I am not Brenda, but I will wish you the best of luck! I bet you will see a whole new variety of animals that I get to see via your photos - I am selfishly hoping for that :-)
