Yesterday, the Bakersfield Elementary Teacher's Association (BETA) held Read across America at the Fox Theater, Downtown, Bakersfield. It celebrates the birthday of Dr. Suess, has guest readers and shows the movie, "Cat in the Hat". It is free and is always a big turnout.
