Loch of Skene

Aberdeenshire

After a bright and sunny morning,
we nipped out to the Loch at lunchtime
...only for the snow to start falling again, heavily.
Only time for a few pics and then back to the office!!!

Works well in the BW, however the day was BW ... almost January Minimalism all over again ... nice image!

Ah, but it was worth it, Stewart! This works for me on several levels - a wonderfully understated composition, perfect B&W processing, horizontal subjects which are beautifully layered with the grey sky and ripple-ly waters, and as JJ says there's a real feeling of cold and colder...great shot all round! Cold and colder looking the more I look at this!

That looks cold and unforgiving!
