What does it say to you?
To me it speaks to the journey of this project.
And it also speaks how far there is to go.
I remember the pain when this project started.
It hurt so bad and I felt so broken by it.
Then at some point I finally took a step.
It was a small step barely noticed by others.
I was just getting out and doing a bit.
At first it was just to distract.
Eventually that turned into living.
I guess I started taking steps I did not know.
I took more and more along the way.
Some of them were riskier than others.
Some of them were weak, but the best I could muster.
And others were even in the wrong directions.
Now I take those steps steady and strong.
The pain and the hurts have faded away in time.
Joy and fascination have taken their place.
I have made mistakes and I have chosen wisely.
Time has shown me if the choices I made were right or wrong.
I have used that knowledge to take the steps after that.
Others sometimes walk with me as our paths cross.
And my journey continues to be written.
You can read some of it in these pages.
The dance of electrons before your eyes.
Forming pictures and words on your screen.
If you get confused along the way look down at your feet.
If they are not moving you need to take a step.
When you take enough of them they become the journey.
And in that journey you find that life is for living.
UPDATE: Well something interesting was pointed out to me.
I agree with it so I wanted to add an update on here.
"Sometimes the proper step is to not take a step".
It is true that sometimes even stagnation is the right step.
I could get real circular with that.
If the step you are taking is not taking a step is it a step?
Yes and no ;-)
