Commonly known as the "speckle belly", the Greater White-fronted Goose has one of the widest ranges of any goose species in the world. It breeds across the tundra in Canada, Alaka, Siberia, across Russia, and in Greenland. In North America, however, it is common only west of the Mississippi River.
