I have a fine friend in Ben Sota. He and his partners Erin, Mike and friends, are theater bards and acrobats who perform for the Zany Brothers Umbrella Circus. They travel the world doing their performances to audiences world wide. Recently they were on tour in Ethiopia and Jordan. I met them in Pittsburgh several years ago and since then have seen them in several places. Ben asked me to design a backdrop for their most recent skit. The skit has four movements which incorporate the four seasons.

In "summer" a journey man finds himself at a challenge along his travels. He is pushed into several difficult tasks of which successful completion will allow him further passage. There is a relationship between the tiger who offers the wisdom and the traveler performs the task.
