This summer we journeyed to Michigan for a music and art festival and a family gathering. It's beautiful up there with all the lakes. One evening as we rest at our camp along an inland lake in the upper peninsula, i sat to do some charcoal drawing. As the sun was setting these two beautiful swans gently floated toward us. Their grace and eloquence symbolized our love for each other. The water was still. We could see reflection of trees and the sky above. There is a stillness in this piece that links us to the source. The paper is significant as well. While at the music festival, we met a man from Nepal. He told us the wonders of his land. We had shared long conversation. He sent us some fine quality paper of which I used for printing swan song.
