Departure Lounge

Kansai Airport, Osaka-fu, Japan view map

One of the departure lounges at Kansai Airport. Like Singapore airport Kansai Airport has interesting Architecture and Operates very efficiently. Unlike Singapore Airport, Kansai Airport has very little of Interest on the Air Side of the Terminal. The only thing that keeps me occupied is watching the planes arrive and depart as there is a good view of the runways. As for the majority of the people waiting for planes (mostly Japanese) they pass the time doing what Japanese always do in transit... Sleeping... Now if Japan really want to make Kansai into the hub that it could be please take a leaf out of Singapore Airport's book and make the Air Side more interesting!

I like the big windows and curved design, looks comfortable and I too like to watch the planes. Keep up the photos I am getting a pictorial education about another country. : ) v
