young smithy

This boy was demonstrating blacksmithing work. I shot him with flash around 10mm so I had to get up right close, which resulted in the big hammer perspective. This is the best of about 6 shots. He would only stay at the anvil for about 30 seconds at a time and then go back to the fire pot.

The big hammer perspective is great. Makes him look smaller and more serious. V

His glasses and the 10mm make the image very cool. Love his concentrating face.

Craftsmanship is something to take serious, otherwise nothing will come of it. v.
