Benchwork_1

First piece of birch cabinet grade plywood was pulled from the woodrack and ripped into 8 ft long sections. For staging and yards, I am going to use homasote over 3/4 inch plywood. The side frames for staging and yards are 1x4 inch ripped plywood. I will drop down to 3 inch side frames when we go "out on the road" and 2 inch foam is used. While I wanted to work on the railroad in the worst way, I am very, very glad that I "semi-finished" the woodshop first. Now that it is functional, I can easily do all the woodworking that the benchwork will require
